B2B Operational Idea of the Week

Leverage custom GPTs, APIs, and webhooks to achieve ANYTHING you want to automate such as fully automating your client onboarding with no work from your end, and spend more time acquiring clients and fulfilling the best service in the market

  • Copywriting trends if you want to build landing pages

  • Interesting tweet from Matt Lucero talking about ICPs and cold email

Deep Dive

99% of automations are straight shit, they don’t actually do anything

They serve no actual purpose, they just do random things

Every automation should save you time, make you more money, and inform you on a specific task

Most automations are nice and all but serve no actual purpose

It’s like the bell curve meme

Chances are most of you will end up being in the middle, where you try to automate any little thing, or buy every and all software because you think you need it

But as the saying goes, simple scales, and fancy fails

This is true in this case, because the time you spend working on automations can be spent acquiring more clients or simply making better processes in your agency

I look at automations this where, I only maybe automation something once a week for my own agency if its actually needed

Otherwise it’d make more sense to build better internal systems, trainings, and leading the team

And of course doing client work and reaching out to new clients

Those things are wayyyyy more important than getting a new client

Operations and automations are needed, but only really needed when things are shit are you’re scaling

Otherwise you should just be focusing on getting more clients and so on

Usually though you should automate these four sectors:

  1. Sales

  2. Marketing

  3. Operations

  4. Fulfillent

These can be broken down further but I rather keep it at a high level so you can understand how it call works
