Hiring Advice That Triggered The Working Class

A while ago I posted a YouTube video, which went on to be the 2nd best-performing one on my channel.

And the reason for that is pretty simple: 5% of all viewers left a comment.

They left a comment because they were angry, which is understandable.

The main message of the video was that you should hire people who care about your mission more than the money, and who only clock out when their work is actually done.

YouTube for some reason recommended the video to normal working people instead of entrepreneurs, and among that audience, my takes are obviously very unpopular.

But I find the reason for that super interesting.

Because my clients' and my employees would agree with my statements, so why don't they as well?

It's because they never worked for the type of company we run.

They never had a boss who gave a shit about them, a salary high enough to not worry about anything, or a mission they loved working towards.

Because these types of companies are incredibly rare.

But I believe that as an entrepreneur, it's your responsibility to build a company people love working for.

At the end of the day, it's cool when you build a cool life for yourself.

But it's even cooler if you build one for others as well.

Cheers,

Tyler
