I spoke to albert, it changed my life

Yes, it really did, but let me explain:

(This email will teach you one of the most important principles in business)

Other entrepreneurs have always told me one thing: intel is everything.

Intel enables you to make better decisions, get ahead of the competition, or even outmaneuver them completely.

Whoever has the best intel wins.

I thought I understood this, but I didn't—not really.

Sure, information is important.

But I hadn't grasped just how far this goes and how much some people value information and context.

Until I went on a trip with someone who most of you probably know, but whose name I can't mention here.

What he did shocked me.

See, I used to think gathering information was limited to your specific field—in my case, operations.

But he had a completely different approach.

This guy interviewed absolutely everyone. He used every opportunity to ask questions and gather insights.

He talked to Uber drivers, cabin crew, hotel staff, concierges, waiters—everyone. Not a single chance for insight went to waste.

But why?

Because it enables you to see life through many different perspectives, not just your own.

This broader view leads to much better decision-making.

But to get back to the subject line, who the f*** is Albert?

Albert is a lovely old guy driving for Uber because he loves chatting with new people.

He was the first I tried this new approach on, and it massively changed my perspective.

So the next time you sit in an Uber, talk to your driver.

And if his name is Albert, make sure to tip well. We love Albert.

Cheers,

Tyler
